How we campaign to support the manufacturers and motor trade

Two-way communication is key to ensuring our goals are met.

We work closely with motor traders, other industry associations and government bodies to find solutions that work for all.

This includes regular meetings with all parties to:

• understand their requirements and goals that affect number plates.
• help create mutual understanding of issues.
• advise motor traders on how to stay within the letter of the law.
• consult on draft pieces of legislation (for example BS AU 145e).
